Bankaltimtara Wins Platinum at ICSRA III 2019

PT BPD Kaltim Kaltara or commonly called Bankaltimtara received a Platinum Rank-2 award with a score of: 88.00 (Grade A) in the Indonesia Corporate Social Responsibility Award-III-2019 (ICSRA) for the category of Banks - Regional Company, organized by Media Economic Review , located at Lor Inn Hotel, Solo, Thursday (07/02/2019).

The award was presented directly by the chairman of ICSRA III 2019 and the founder of Indonesia Asia Institute - CEO of Economic Review, Irlisa Rachmadiana to the Head of the Corporate Secretariat, Abdul Haris Sahilin, representing the Directors of PT BPD Kaltim Kaltara.

The ICSRA III 2019 assessment criteria include 4 aspects, namely: Publication, Coverage of CSR activities, Engagement of stakeholders, and long-term impact of CSR for program recipients. ICSRA III 2019 is the highest appreciation given to the best companies in its CSR field in Indonesia, both public and private companies.

Through this award, it is hoped that motivated companies will improve their achievements and their important role in implementing CSR practices. Previously an objective, fair judging process had been carried out by an independent jury competent in the CSR field.

Bankaltimtara Corporate Secretary Leader Abdul Haris Sahilin said CSR was a form of PT BPD Kaltara's commitment as a regional company in carrying out operational activities by paying attention to stakeholder involvement, scope of activities, environmental, educational and social health, and the long-term impact of CSR on the community.

"Bankaltimtara has consistently carried out CSR programs annually not only for corporate responsibility for stake holders but also as a business sustainability effort," Abdul Haris said.

As part of the company's commitment to implementing CSR, Bankaltimtara has implemented several CSR programs, namely in the fields of Financial Literacy, Education, Business Development, Health and other CSR.

"We also provide financial education to support government programs to improve financial literacy in the community. We carry out this program every year through the activities of Bankaltimtara Education Agent and Prima Bankaltimtara Scholarship, besides that we also support the improvement of micro and medium enterprises through the Business Development CSR program, "added Abdul Haris.
