Bankaltimtara Wins Platinum at Indonesia Corporate Secretary and Corporate Communication Award 2019

PT BPD Kaltim Kaltara or commonly called Bankaltimtara won the Platinum Award at the Indonesia Corporate Secretary & Corporate Communication Award (ICCA) 2019 for the Public Company Category (Bank) - IDR 10 T - IDR 25 T Asset, held by Economic Review Magazine in collaboration with Indonesia -Asia Institute and Perbanas Institute.

This award is the second achievement of Bankaltimtara with a very good rating (A). Bankaltimara is considered to have a company performance that is able to plan, implement, monitor and evaluate corporate communication programs strategically, and is able to prove its effectiveness in building the company's reputation widely. ICCA Award IV 2019 was achieved based on the judges' assessment consisting of experts and practitioners in various institutions.

The award was presented by Acting Head of the Public Relations Bureau of the Ministry of Communication and Information of the Republic of Indonesia Ferdinandus Setu to the Head of Corporate Secretariat Abdul Haris Sahilin who represented the Bankaltimtara Board of Directors, held at Grand Sahid Hotel Solo, Friday (22/02/2109).

The organizers also held a Workshop with the theme Strategy to Address the Impact of the Industrial Revolution 4.0 in the Field of Corporate Communication in Indonesia with Keynote Speaker Ferdinandus Setu, SH. who served as Acting. Head of Public Relations Bureau of the Ministry of Communication & Information of the Republic of Indonesia and Atal Sembiring as Chair of the Indonesian Journalists Association (PWI). In addition, workshop material was provided by representatives of academics, DR. Rahajeng Widya as CEO of PT Dtekno Reka Cipta.

Bankaltimtara as a regional company with its tagline, "Advancing Kalimantan to Build Indonesia", is committed to continue to contribute to information disclosure. This is in order to maintain equality of information for all stakeholders.

Bankaltimtara's Corporate Secretary, Abdul Haris Sahilin, said that Bankaltimtara was considered successful in carrying out one of the main tasks of the Corporate Secretary, namely managing corporate communications and information.

"The award received by Bankaltimtara is one proof of public recognition of Bankaltimtara's success in managing corporate communication and information for the benefit of shareholders, the government and stakeholders who will ultimately contribute to the company's business performance," said Abdul Haris.

Meanwhile, Chair of the ICCA Jury who is also the Founder and CEO of Economic Review IV, Irlisa Rachmadiana, said the event had been held for the fourth time.

"Awards are given to private companies, state-owned companies and state-owned enterprises that can plan, implement, monitor and evaluate corporate communication programs strategically," he explained.

This award also adds to the row of awards achieved by Bankaltimtara in 2019. Previously Bankaltimtara won the "Gold" award for the Best of Regional Own Enterprise category, Indonesia Inhouse Magazine Awards (InMA) 2019.
