Distribute Credit, Bankaltim Commitment to Continues to Support Strengthening Agricultural Sector

President Director of Bankaltim,  Zainuddin Fanani said that in order to success food self-sufficiency and agriculture in East Kalimantan, including in Kutai Timur, Bank Kaltim has four credit scheme (4S) strategies to distribute to the farmers.

The first is palm prosperous credit, livestock prosperous credit, fisheries prosperous credit, and food prosperous credit. Rice harvest in the village of Cipta Graha, Kaubun District uses food prosperous credit.

"4S is deliberately created by Bankaltim as an effort to support the government's policy, as the shareholder. From the banking side, we want to try how to succeed the ideals of the government in terms of the endurance of the food in East Kalimantan including in Kutim.” He said.

According to him, general agreement with the shareholders of  Bank BPD East Kalimantan, it was determined that the 4S credit in 2016 of interest from 14 percent was reduced to 9 percent.

"This is the request of the District Head of Kutim Ismunandar as well as the Governor of East Kalimantan Awang Faroek Ishak," said Zainuddin.

To be known, the distribution of credit for rice farmers in Kutim District as many as 12 debtors with a total area of ​​rice fields about 22 hectares. The total loan provided by Bank Kaltim is Rp199 million.

As for banana commodities in Kutim that have been harvested, there are eight debtors with the total area of ​​the gardens is 41 hectares and credit assistance disbursed amounting to Rp 495 million.

Until February 2017, the total loan disbursed by Bank Kaltim through the 4 S scheme in East Kalimantan has reached Rp331 billion. And the credit ceiling until the end of 2016 prepared by Bank Kaltim amounting to Rp 500 billion.
